ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND TEXT MESSAGING (SMS)
By providing the firm with your email address or mobile telephone number, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and text (SMS) message, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You may withdraw your consent to receive text messages at any time by replying STOP, as described below.
Text (SMS) Message Program. If you provide your mobile telephone number and opt in, for example by submitting your number and consent through our website or intake form, you may receive text messages from LexLegal, PLLC relating to the legal services you have requested, such as appointment and consultation reminders, responses to your inquiries, and intake follow-up. This is a conversational, person-to-person messaging program. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of obtaining any legal service from the firm.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; depending on your plan, you may be charged by your wireless carrier. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message, after which you will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP, or contact us using the contact information on our “Contact Us” page. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to communicate with the firm by other means. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We use the mobile information you provide only to deliver the text messages described above and to respond to you. We may share this information with vendors that help us deliver messages on our behalf, such as our messaging platform provider and telecommunications carriers, and only as necessary to provide the messaging service.
